羅茨鼓風(fēng)機(jī)和螺桿鼓風(fēng)機(jī)都是屬于容積式風(fēng)機(jī)，如果兩者要進(jìn)行比較的話，可以簡(jiǎn)單歸結(jié)為壓縮原理的不同，螺桿鼓風(fēng)機(jī)的、穩(wěn)定、低噪優(yōu)勢(shì)更為突出。

螺桿鼓風(fēng)機(jī)采用的內(nèi)壓縮所需功耗要遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)低于羅茨鼓風(fēng)機(jī)采用的外壓縮，而且內(nèi)壓縮過(guò)程是連續(xù)漸進(jìn)的，氣流脈動(dòng)要低于羅茨鼓風(fēng)機(jī)，所以螺桿鼓風(fēng)機(jī)的噪音及穩(wěn)定性也均優(yōu)于羅茨鼓風(fēng)機(jī)。
